Thistle’s Touch

Like a thistle bloomed in the moors,
Hardened by the bitter winds from the gray stony sea
Prickled thorns that draw the blood of the greedy,
So are the victims of blackened hate and festered love.
And the prince of solid gold who held his heart...

Have crispened into raven ash,

I will see you in the ripening autumn leaves
