I live with them all the days of my life.
The fear, the manipulation, the intimidation, the hurt.
Broken, damaged, secluded and ever distant.
I have to keep me protected…

I am not who I used to be.
I don’t act the way that I used too.
My smile isn’t the same as before.
It was brighter, it was sweeter, and there was love in it.
Not my smile seems fake,
Forced.
Not as real as before.
How can I put the pieces back...
