Brook anew

Slowly the brook meanders
− I retraced my steps back −
past the woodland’s edges;
shadows of rings on the surface
of these flowing waters
move across the stream’s sunlit floor,
bright, glasslike, disappearing,
to reappear...

Haunting

Am I
to be
ghost

because I already died
or
because I hang on

live on past,

past that one moment
the old times froze,

past that one moment
creating, in passing,

Am I to haunt
this new...

tidal forces

Even in the sunlight this head
is aware of the night waiting

My tongue

hidden in the leaves...

Hermit to emperor

If you lay down your head to rest,
do you feel my heartbeat
as the way to dream?

With your head on my chest,
I no longer feel hemmed in
by my own inner void,
that never fills the same...

My days

Up to this very moment
I passed through each and every
day of my life,
your hands have been bearing
the lion’s share.

Words of all breeds
came to tea,
while they tore down old walls,
built new

braces for the roof
and...

Innocently I asked

Innocently
I asked.

A door opens,
recklessly revealing
old life.

It hurts
to have no words
allowed to wander,
wonder,
ponder

for fear is stalking me.

Yet,
the silence is killing me,
is killing us.

Yes,
it helps to let these words roam...
