I am from a big family, 6 siblings and I don't even know how many cousins. This has led me to get looked over very easily, I was always the one who was playing with everyone, and trying to include as many people as I could. This action was not reciprocated. The earliest memory of poetry that I have starts in 7th grade. My teacher instructed us to write about something that makes us wonder. I wrote a poem about birds chirping on a cloudy, windy day. Now why did I write this? Well, I thought back to when I was a little kid and no one invited me to play with them, while I always made sure everyone had someone, or something to play with. I wonder why these people just chirp on and on, while the wind is blowing around them.
