I am 18 years old. I have grown up in a very small town in Alberta. I have had mental health issues my whole life. I was always know as the anxious kid, the onewho had to put her shoe in the door to make sure she didn't get locked in, the one who spent all her time worrying about what may or may not happen. when I was in high school, the same time as covid my mental heath took a turn for the worse. after struggling in silence for 2 years I was forced to ask for help. around a year ago I was diagnosed with not one but three mental health issues. everyday is a struggle but everyday gets a bit easier. I have found so much comfort in poetry through out this journey I am on.
