Craig-Urban Poet born Preston L. Craig on April 1, 1983 in Winston Salem N.C. He's father Preston W. Craig a factory worker and his mother Cassandra C. Craig a housekeeper at Forsyth Hospital where he was born. Have always had a niche for writing he start doodling words. At 8 years old putting his thoughts to paper. It wasn't until the age of 12 that a chance encounter with a famous poet Maya Angelou that would spark the creativity and passion to write poetry. His poems are experiences, truth's and raw reality. That we face as humans. Meant to inspire, uplift and say the words you want to say. His poetry is versatile, fierce and felt emotionally around the world. There's something special for everyone.
