I am a 31 year old HOMELESS, African American author. My life story and poetry were written as a way for me to express my feelings, thoughts and perspective. I needed a way to process all of the pain and trauma I’d experienced as a child so I began to write. I’ve always kept a journal and used writing to escape my hellish reality. Through ALL of that I BELIEVE that IT IS POSSIBLE for me to be the person God called me to be. Instead of turning and running from my fears, vicious generational cycles. I’m navigating this world the best way that I can with Gods grace, PATIENCE and guidance. By being obedient to his directions. My personal history is littered with sexual assault and many other forms of abuse I had to learn to HEAL MYSELF.
