Marsha Lewis is a retired visual art teacher with a strong love of all of the arts. Although she has written poetry since the age of 9, it wasn't until recently that she began sharing her work with others. In 2021 she was awarded 3rd place in the East Lake County (Florida) Poetry Contest, which inspired her to pursue her passion for poetry. Marsha has always been drawn to the power of the written or spoken word, to transport others to a different place, descriptively and emotionally.
