MME ANNETTE NALOVA EKEMA

BIOGRAPHY OF THE AUTHOR Born in Bota, Victoria, in the South west of Cameroon and fourth child in a family of six, she grew up in the flanks of Mount Fako, Buea. She did her primary, secondary and high school education in Buea and Limbe where she obtained her General Certificate of Education Advanced Level. She then enrolled in the then University of Yaounde, Cameroon in 1989, where she obtained her Bachelor Degree in English Private Law in 1992. She gained admission into the Higher Teacher Training College of the University of Yaounde I, where she graduated as a Guidance Counselor in 1994. She worked in that capacity for 12 years before being appointed to the Ministry of Higher Education of Cameroon where she presently works. As a worker her passion for education pushed her to enroll and obtain a Postgraduate Diploma - Matrise in Business Law in the University of Yaounde II in 2007. In 2015, she obtained a Master Degree in Women and Development Studies from the University of Yaounde I. in 2018, Her zeal for knowledge took her to China where she obtained another Masters Degree, this time, in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics Beijing, China. She is presently a Chief of Service in the Ministry of Higher Education of Cameroon.
