Poems »

I am 14 years old. I live with my mother and two sisters. I enjoy spreading love and joy to others. I love playing instruments and learning a new language. I taught myself Japanese, Spanish, and I know 3 books of the Korean language. I love spending time with my family and friends and I love learning about different cultures. Last years I experienced racism many times that went unnoticed and unreported. It was witnessed by several teachers. No actions had been taken and I felt hopeless. I wrote this poem to give a voice to those that experienced these acts. I hope this poem reaches those in love not hate.
