Dark clouds

Dark clouds, dark thoughts gathering
In your mind, in the air, in the sky,
Dark clouds, dark thoughts wandering
On a night when you fear you may die.

Dark clouds gathering overhead
In the day, when the sun’s shining bright,
Dark clouds hover all around your bed
Like a shroud hanging over the night.

Dark clouds make your life seem grey
As the Devil seems to be on your back,
Dark clouds haunt you night and day
Until it seems you're under attack.

Dark clouds torment you, steal your breath
As your life has been turned upside down,
Dark clouds make you yearn for death
As it seems your life has run aground.

Dark clouds undermining your life
As it seems you have no purpose left,
Dark clouds overhead are rife
As it seems that your life is bereft.

Dark clouds devastating you
As it seems you are losing control,
Dark clouds haunting through and through
As you're fighting a battle for your soul.

Dark clouds haunting you, it seems
As your life is reduced to despair,
Dark clouds fill your thoughts and dreams
It seems there is no-one left who cares.

Dark clouds keep you locked within
As your life seems to be on the slide,
Dark clouds keep on gathering
On a night when you know you will die.

THE END
