Heart Reflections

I felt the wind dance across my skin and heard it whisper your name.

I blocked out the noise so I wouldn't feel the pain.

I wrapped myself in steel,
Told myself it was the only way to heal

But your eyes pierced the darkness,
And melted the ice in my viens

Your voice raised the sun,
And burned my steel heart with it's flames.

Forgiveness is earned, tis true.
