Hate

HATE 1996 (Dar Es Salaam)

Can hate qualify as fate?
When your plate is well equipped
Compared to that of your friends?
When your success is screaming
At your enemy’s face?
When every person who thought you’d fail
Recalls nothing negative about you
At the end of the trail?

Well if you ask me this
I’d be speechless
A man with flesh and bones homeless
Restless, breathless
Over the edge, untold weaknesses
But at the end of the day
Achieves greatness
Deserves no fate like hate

In fact, they got to act fast
Because their present is way more important
Compared to their past
Adding to that
A well led life
Going by the book and its rights
Needs more of love than hate spotlights
