The Lighjhouse

K. Abels 1949 (United States)

You stand alone, Against the tides. On rocky shores, Your beacon shines. Through mists and fog, Your eye stays bright. To guide great ships To shores at night. Through rain and storm, All kinds of weather, You light the way And all is better. Though nature's moods can change the tides, The seamen know, You are on their side.
