Mine

Everlasting fear is a not a feeling but a state of mind
Not in fits of constant screaming, nor horrified howling
Fear is not what you see in the films you’re scared to watch
True fear is deep within you, a core, elemental part of you
Fear lingers, within always there waiting to be felt at higher level
In a constant state of anxiety fear and I are good friends
Nobody knows me as well as the frightful feeling of horror
I know excitement and happiness
A little less than my fears
Even so, I’m still not accustomed
To my fear
Like a jumpscare
I still jolt
At the sound,
Of continous
Prolonged existence
Mine, my
thoughts
fears
