The moon and her
Thaamarai Selvi SP 2001 (Madurai)
Let the moon remind you,
of me for to hold its
arms when it kisses the sea,
rather not seek when it's away
from the stars.
Le the moon reminds you of me.
When the moon takes rest,
in its bed of the night sky,
where you seek those stars
among those billion;
but forget me,
that I am resting here
being the moon.
Let the moon remind you of me.
The nights always longs for,
to unite our sound of silence,
while the trees being ready
to play the welcoming note,
but the air denies it
with a sweet smile.
Let the moon remind you of me.
And indeed the nights love me.
And let the moon remind me, of you.
