Storm of Light

The burden only lingers in the sea,
not even swimming to the surface.
Of course, it appears in the worst of places,
and the worst of times. During a desperate plea,
it will not consume the mind.
Nor will it control our actions.
It is hunting for a reaction,
but it is blind
to the infinite light.
Over the invisible horizon,
where success flies in
and the future is oh so bright.
