Angels

Antonio Lima 1951 (Azores)

How many come and go,
the amazing revolving see,
How many held the Angelic persona -
How many experimental loves?
I dare you say none but Angels
Knew such great freedom...
and separateness aligned with logic,
Home longings would beget more
as the inner mind of night,
and the outer field of dreams.
For all that composites the Angel
technically composites all others,
So do we see how the real Devil
or an invented one hand-shakes?
