Your pedestal

Don't you dare present your pedestal
With lectures to the pitiful
You know that you have strayed
And ignored me for some days
You know that you're lukewarm
And more off than you're on
And the captives are not free
You're not representing me
Don't you dare pass yourself off
As Gods gift to the lost
Don't you dare
