Woman, a sweet song in a still tongue

Wilson Nwachukwu 1982 (Lagos)

WOMAN
Woman! woman!! woman!!!
What a creature to be loved,
nagging a choicest kind of honor,
 love wanted in ages,
Never gets wrong on sight,
Arguing even till nightfall,
Always right to be loved.
The woman I know, the angel I lost,
Heaven must be right, for man it's wo-man,
Hell can't withstand the power,
The creature (woman) is strong,
Her smiles suits the wrath of kings,
Oh King Solomon, adoring maiden is virtue,
when I think of her smiles,
my heart pound in lost love,
can she ever change her pride?
does she realize how much my heart pants for her kiss?
What a heart pierced with broken spirit.
Woman, only if I know you were created to be loved and never love
only if I know my want of your kiss could be loss in the dream
only if I know you will be gone in the warmth glorious cloud of pain
I could have cuddled my pants for your kiss
And return to the woman I know.
Woman a sweet song in a still tongue.
Woman woman woman
