Wings Upon His Pillow

When he first saw the flapping wings
He didn't get too concerned;
Because things didn't always turn out
The way that you first learned!

But when the pillow began to spin
He knew something had changed;
It had never done that before
Usually it was just a little rearranged!

So when it lifted off into the air
He knew he couldn't sleep tonight;
He'd never slept pillow-less before
Nor had his pillow ever taken flight!
