A response to Christina Georgina Rosseti's "When I am Dead"
When you are to die, my love,
There's but need for sad songs.
And a million roses at your head,
To show how my heart longs:
I'll visit frequently
Or as often as you'll let,
I will always remember
Lest I tend to forget.

You shan't be able to see me,
You shan't feel my breaking heart,
You shan't hear my hurting voice
Cry out cause we're apart:
Dream through your eternal nights
Slip away without regret,
I will always remember,
And I will never forget.
