When the world falls asleep

When the world falls asleep,
Night spreads its black carpet
When people turn to the warmth of homes
And birds to their cosy nests;
After one more gruelling day of life
When there's nothing anymore bright
And despair tries to seep in the heart
When I begin to start giving up;
A bright star rises then
Illuminates the heart and the soul
Whispers in my ears:few words of courage, joy and hope!
Reminds me of those pleasant sunlit skies
That forever follow these dark nights
My mind is instilled with resurrected faith
I'm full of renewed vigour
To try, to work and win.
