Weekdays..

Saturday:
you left, and took away my
.... once upon a time.

Sunday:
Faith slipped
between my fingers
and scattered.

Monday:
The birds stopped singing
and all the butterflies died.

Tuesday:
I embroidered your name
on my face with black ink.

Wednesday:
I wrote my love words
on paper with a bleeding pen.

Thursday:
Muddled, I arranged
pink pills in rows on my table.

Friday:
I painted wings on my shoulders
and flew toward my new
...once upon a time.

I had to write a poem about suicide, not a subject I am very comfortable with and this was the results.
