Unrequited Love

I could meet you after a year,
Or I could meet you after a lifetime
And I know that my heart and my entrails
Would vibrate still the same.

You were my madrigal,
A song I had composed,
Emlued with volcanic emotions,
erupting from within.
And which will not be lost
in the vortex of time.

I could meet you after a year
Or I could meet you after a lifetime,
Yet, I know that
I'd like to engrave this poem
On your body:
A poem with words unrhymed.
