Two Kinds

Dana Lyndon

Flowing green limbs
shady dark days
shining wet grass
foggy grey haze.

Over-grown roots
puddles turned dark
patters of rain
leaving their mark.

Shadows from clouds
starry night skies
rolling steep hills
calling birds fly.

Never look down
hating the grey
always take joy
living each day.
