Trumpet

Shantanu Chindhade

Though words are overshadowed
Trumpet lingers in my mind
When you meet again
Fragrance in breath of a kind..
My eyes soothened up
Flesh started waving
You emptied sky on me
'No more no more' I am saying..
On my life twig
Robins flocking back
In that starry lake
My moon you may hack...
After so much long
Flaring up my voice
With your tender touch
Play the trumpet nice...!
