Traces Of You

You are gone but left behind 
traces of you for me to find. 
Your scent on my pillow,strands of 
your hair,your smile in my heart-- 
you're everywhere. 
Signs of you,I pass by each day-- 
your voice echos,in me,of the things 
you would say. Traces of you are all 
over this place,and in my heart I 
can still see your face. 
The memories,the visions of you in 
my head;of you laying there sleeping 
next to me in bed. Traces of you,in 
my heart will remain but without 
you here my soul is in pain. 
Traces of you make me smile,make 
me cry,when I look around and 
remember 'you and I'. And though you 
are gone you left behind... 
...traces of you trapped in my mind.
