Through The Endless Depths Of Darkness

Colors of life gradually submerged by darkness
Slowly drowning vitality leaving nothing but deficiency
Wanting to breathe but lungs are left airless

Reality hidden from the seekers lost eyes
yearning to find answers in the endless depths of eternity
yet never finding the solid ground underneath the ocean of lies

answers that will forever remain unreachable
for the sickness has spread through the seekers mind
to one that has no sense left swimming is un teachable

but why must one learn to swim through the lies of humanity
for no one can swim when the surface is lost
when there's no visible difference between love and atrocity

how can we be when perception is subjective
when no one sees past their own clouded view
to protect ourselves from what is infective

the sickness is everywhere turning water into stone
paralyzed by the confusion of obscurity
causing shattered perception where the light once shone
