The Windman

Listen to me windman
can you hear me call,
Whistle at me windman
never let me fall.

My heart is beating faster
the forest closes in,
Tonight you are my master
my limbs are but your kin.

Your branches they surround me
so like a pythons grip,
With darkness all around me
I feel the windmans whip.

I wake up in a forest
last night was but a dream,
A wisp is all there is here
I wish you would redeem.

My soul that you have taken
my dreams are in between,
a nightmare Is the windman
I wish you would come clean.

Whistle at my shadow
tell me what you mean,
captivate my darkest demons
they who stay unseen.
