The Ungrateful Child

You were my heart.
You did'nt see how I fell apart
You ripped out my soul
Leaving me to die alone
Spitting on my shallow grave
I can still hear your laughter
giggling I should get a life.

I gave you life
you were my daughter
You punched me in the face
The bruises never healed
No apology no appeal
Only a silence so real
It deafened my spirit and
destroyed my faith in life.
You took away my only grandchild
She still holds her arms out to hug me.
I'm broken inside
Even the karma that comes back to you
Will never console me.
It only leaves an empty space
That completely destroys me.
I spoiled you so completely
It left you grateful for nothing.
