The Umbrella Girl

They think her name is Pearl
But they call her the umbrella girl;
She'll sell you one for the next rain
And even show you how they twirl.

She dresses in leather and lace
And she's got freckles all over the place;
They dot her from head to toe
Including her wise and friendly face.

She'll sell you one for one dollar
Or maybe two for five dollars;
If you ever question her math
She'll come at you with hollers.

She likes to wear her big glasses
When she takes her night classes
But she likes to spend her days
Selling umbrellas to the masses.
