The Poetic Torch
I have no chariot of fire just paper and pen
Now I find myself challenged or tagged again
A flaming torch passed to poets across the land
How am I supposed to write with this in my hand?
In this Olympic race we need to keep the flame bright
As our poetry inspires others which is such a delight
Now I must pass this torch along with a gentle hello
Write on dear poets, keep this beacon of light aglow
