The Poetic Bee .

Subrata Ray



A country school girl of standard eight ,
 Often led her spirit into my sight ,
 In her countenance and softly liquid voice ,
 She tuned so many of the unsaid ,
 Though felt I her romantic wild ,
 But what she tided was never paid .
My grey spirit ,had little merit ,
 To share and stir the romantic flood ,
 Yet I could know , as the times go ,
 The unbridled warmth of my adolescent blood .
