The Poet

Feel the vibrations my heart sends
As it jumps from my chest and into this pen
What you call a piece of paper, I call my canvas
Freedom to paint my soul of misery or bliss
What you call a pen, I see it as my wand
Creatively I take you to places that serenades your mind
As it burst from your chest and speaks to you
Comprehend the love I have for what I do
Feel the love of my heart as it bleeds words
Words of distress or gratification expressed like never before
My mind constantly speaks
The poet in me never sleeps
