The One
Like a comet from the outer space,
He came into my horizon,
With his magical voice and lilting music,
He barged into my mental space.
Softening his musical pace,
Without knocks, without words,
But playfully with his vocal chords,
He left my soul mesmerized.
Without words spoken,
Without promises unbroken,
Into the outer space he left,
Leaving me lonely and bereft.
Hypnotised, I am, in a hazy world,
Lost in love so cold,
Looking into the depth of night,
And wishing for that heartening knight;
Sent from heaven above I felt,
To shower my life with joy and delight,
Waiting for that Martian guy,
He, who came from outer space.
