the old man on the park seat

THE OLD MAN ON THE PARK SEAT. 2012

As it edged closer towards the old man
it looks at him with a big, beady eye
then it made a horrible screeching noise
that echoed amongst the clouds in the sky
it wanted what the human was holding
as the man sat upright on the park seat
now it was screaming and hissing at him
and he felt his golden heart skip a beat
the old man was now shaking all over
as he reached to throw something at it
the item was quickly grabbed with speed
and was hastily eaten, every last little bit
it demands more by jumping and noise
but the old man had no more items to give
he does not care as he has a million smiles
even he knows he's not much time to live
it continues to try to get the man's attention
but he wants now is some quiet and peace
the old man shoos away the noisy life forms
saying he's had enough of feeding the geese
