The mist

Andy Lyle 1951 (Londonderry)

The magical mist hugs the valley floor conjuring up trees with no trunks, telegraph poles floating on its magic carpet waiting to be re-united with their bases when the mist eventually disperses. An eeriness is exuded by the grey white soup hanging between earth and sky and closer to the former, but it is a beautiful eeriness that gives the valley a whole new out of focus dimension. I admire the beauty nature can deliver on her ever changing canvas and rejoice in my ability to see it, there are many who are not so blessed.
