The lost love

The day I first saw him I strangely didn’t feel New!
To laugh with him was so easy the way I do with very few!!
Often wanted to talk and spend time with him,
Felt it was a strong bond but feared it can be a Whim!!
Heart is the size of the fist!
What it expects and dreams is just like a Mist!!
I tried to get closer in all possible ways,
Still there was a Lacuna as long as he stays!
I was at the loss of words..but wanted to talk more!
Conscious all the way not to make him bore!!
The moment he speaks to me I feel wonderful,
The moment he stares at me I feel beautiful!
The day he tells first “hi” to me I feel like shouting Loud,
The day he praises me I am on the “Ninth Cloud”!!
Heart is the size of the fist!
What it expects and dreams is just like a Mist!!
I dreamt of the day we will tie the Knot,
I smiled and was thrilled just by that silly thought!
Was I aware of what he is up to?
Does he really feel the way I do?!!
I felt shy to express what all I felt,
Was confident he will take my hand in his with head bent down and knelt!
I said “ssshhh” to my inner person who prompted its “FANTASY”!
It was hard to resist the whole outer me filled with “ECSTASY”!!
Heart is the size of the fist!
What it expects and dreams is just like a Mist!!
The day was not so far when my dreams shattered!
All my unending thoughts were like scattered!!
In my heart there was a stitch,
For he happily bade good bye and didn’t even flinch!!
I was still waiting with my arms open,
Hoping there can suddenly be a good omen!
Wanted to cry as the heart was broken,
The faint wish to have him in my eyes made the eyes frozen!!
Heart is the size of the fist!
What it expects and dreams is just like a Mist!!
When he put forward his hand with refilled joy I scurried,
He wished me good luck and happy times ahead when my feelings again got buried!
Didn’t dare to say the three words “I LOVE YOU”!
What all I could say was “I will MISS YOU”!
I would miss him like hell..IT WAS TRUE
That moment My inner consoled me saying holding My wrist....
---“Heart is the size of the fist!
What it expects and dreams is just like a Mist!!”-------------
