The Legend Of Nigel

It started many, many years ago,
how many years we just don't know.
Now every year on Halloween,
the ghost of Nigel can be seen.
Nigel lived in older times,
he was arrested for many crimes.
Nigel waited to again be free,
instead he was hanged, for all to see.
Sometime later, it was proved,
those crimes committed, Nigel did not do.
Nigel was innocent, but put to death,
now his soul can never rest.
On Halloween each and every year,
somewhere, sometime, his ghost will appear.
Very few have seen him, and did survive,
but most of his victims are no longer alive.
This Halloween you must beware,
Nigel's ghost could be seen anywhere.
If he chooses you, you can't be saved.
We will put fresh flowers on your grave.
