The Illusion

as the razor closes on my wrist i begin to think of my life and what its been. the times when i thought i was a hero, or the times i thought i could fly, then i realized that could never happen, and i became colder than i ever could.....or at least that's what i thought. then i found out what love was all about and i thought it would last forever like in the movies, then i found out love can leave you crushed, heart and all shattered in an instant i realize now that you cant have love in this life or any other. this world runs for me on hate, the more i shut myself inside, the less i will be heart-broken, on the floor of my mind bleeding, battered, and broken, my life fading faster and faster into the darkness, and as i snap back in to life, back to that fateful day in my room with my razorblade, the day i said goodbye to this illusion called life.
