The Cyclone.

The night was dark and stormy,
The sea was whipped with foam,
as on those well used sealanes,
Gawler was heading,
the cyclone was upon us as it blustered and blew,
but there would be no stopping us,
for the mighty Gawler must get through,
we had a date ashore that night,
so at a screaming 30 knots,
straight up to the dolphins,
and hopefully a screaming stop,
as we approached them the engines seemed to fail,
but Kuz was on the forecastle and with his trusty arm,
he threw the hawser over the dolphin and quickly he heaved too,
the boat was stopped,
the vessel was safe,
a quick tubbs and step ashore for the casino,
it will not wait.
