Faded sunshine, bereaved courage,
Broken sight, dead life
With motionless, unwilling strife
To count the rise and falls
Of breathes and heartbeat
Which fear to carry on
The defeated chaos once rose

In the ‘days of glory'!

Alok Mishra, 23, is a poet, author, novelist and philosopher from Bihar, India. Alok has his motives in life. His poetry covers various aspect of life and he follows the doctrine of 'art must have a purpose.' Alok Mishra's debut work proved it; his work "Being in Love... (Bliss or Curse)" depicts the vivid causes and remedies of honour killings in India. He is a student of MA in English Literature at Nalanda College, Biharsharif, Bihar, India. He is an orator and a conscious body.
