The Boy in Man

There was aboy who had turned into a man.
The time it took was like a hour glass of sand.
The boy was so little, humble and small.
To become a man he had to learn to stand tall.
Stand so tall so he would not fall
Knowing he had to endure it all
The number one test was to be; the man God had called
him to be.
God knew what as a child what he would be like, a
strong man with a mind of power and success
Trusting in God that he would always do his best
To accomplish the plans outline for my life, I knew I
had to be protect from worldly strife.
Praying to my Father, the Father of one and all
The Father who created us big and small
The Father who holds us in the palm of His hand.
Trusting that one day I will stand like a man.
