Daddy I reached for your hand
but you weren't there
I waited Daddy
but you never came home
Where are you daddy?
I need to know

Mommy says
that you are with the angels now, Daddy
that you have wings of white
I asked her why, Daddy
and she said because you were gone, Daddy
Will you still protect me, Daddy?
Please, oh please Daddy
Hide me from all the bad things
Hide me in your wings
Because Daddy,
I miss you.
