Talismans of the Prime Mover



Removing the cavern,
Pulling it up like a sheet,
and inside
seeds shining like the stars
and randomly planted,
some implanted,
spiralling galaxies
in the womb of creation.

Katie Anderson is a historian and poet, living in the Saint Louis area. She has been published in Faerie Nation Mag, In The Write Mind at Central Florida Community College, and LitMag at the University of Missouri. She currently holds a BA in Psychology and an MA in History from the University of Missouri – Saint Louis. She is deeply passionate about the study of mythology and the afterlife.
