On a dark street in tokyo
under an umbrella
she stands up
i zip up
on her lower lip, I point
chin out in defiance, she pouts
i wipe her lip
pulling out a scarf from her purse,
she wipes my thumb
I smoke a cigarette
At the station we part
never to meet again.
