Stalk

Shantanu Chindhade

At that evening light
The sky leaning down
Smoky horizon and footpath
Full of memories..town...
There was mercury in air
And green shiver on leaves
At those lonely banks
Someone within moves..
Why feet stumbled
Obstruction by orange light
Started suddenly singing
Tunes lovely and bright..
At this twilight time
How do I resist waves
The fall is at peak
And mind so much craves...!
