Something We Can't See
If our lives were lines,
none of us would be straight;
they would curve without signs
with no pattern of date.
The line would seem strange
to those looking from the ground,
they would have no range,
some going ‘round and ‘round.
From a bird’s eye view,
and image starts to emerge,
regardless of the work you do,
you’re part of our giant surge.
Trust that the end is near,
trust that there’s a reason,
trust even before you hear,
forever, season to season.
