Sleeping Beauty

She got a bad little body on her
Works it like a station agent
Locomotion motion all-nighter
Out here tryin' to make that paper
Because her rent's due
Plus she got her baby waitin'
On her knees at Granny's house
Prayin' the Lord will finally save 'em
Momma's always gone
And when she's home, she's always lyin'
Passed out on the sofa drunk
Or why she's in the bathroom cryin'
Nothing's quite right
Nothing's turned out like it's supposed to be
'Cause twerkin' ain't a livin'
But pays better than sackin' groceries

"All men should die..."
That's all she's ever sayin'
"And D'quan can go to hell
'Cause that nigga ain't never made a payment!"
Next generation knowledge
Like a lamb led to the slaughter
As she'll grow up and repeat the cycle
'Cause it's all her mother's ever taught her

Treat your body like it's a wonderland
Free rides and no hands
With no concept of matrimony
Just both feet up with nowhere to land
Caught in a vicious lifestyle
With no hope of her survival
And everyday a part of her dies
Her heart and her beauty in need of revival...
